Hair Extensions for unusual hair types

Finished Result

As hair extensions are pretty standard across the board alot of ladies wonder if there is anything you can do for them as there hair is different to what they would feel is an average hair type.

I meet alot of new clients every week and most recently I have met some ladies with what you would probably call ‘unusual hair types’. Last week in particular was one of those weeks and spurred me on to write this post. I met a very inspiring young woman who had cancer ten years ago, which was followed by a stroke, and post cancer alopeica … a woman who hasn’t lost her sense of humour I am glad to say. We spent three hours having the best chat. We decided the best description for some of the hair I see is ‘unusual hair types’ which am sure is very ‘PC’ (politically correct). Due to her chemotherapy she suffered hair loss and unfortuantely it never grew back to her previously thick long lusicous hair (which she showed me a picture of). Saturday she left the Issonni studio so excited about her new volumizer hair, and to be honest it left me feeling excited too :-)

My other client I am including pictures of as her hair was also ‘unsual’. She had worn her hair tied up for quite sometime to disguise the damage that had been caused to her hair due to chemical treatments. Two hours and an Interweave later her hair was restored to it’s former glory.

Along with Alopecia, hair extensions at Issonni have also been used to disguise Trichotillomania…

I read an article this week: http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/hair-loss/tips-buying-hairpiece this is untrue of Issonni Studio although not a myth! A client visited recently and was told also she would have to have her head shaved for their system and also pay €900 for the pleasure. She had very fine hair no medical condition and found this to be an extreme measure to gain fuller hair. She went with a volumizer at Issonni studio instead:

Before Volumizer

After Volumiser

It is so natural looking you would think she had just had a good blowdry ;-)

So whatever your hair complaint may be or what your hair dream is, once you have a hair length to work with hair extensions ‘could’ well be an option for you!
